Proverbs 17:3 NLT
Fire tests the purity of silver and gold, but the LORD tests the heart.
It takes great heat to purify silver and gold. Both silver and gold will be melted - several times if needed to remove all it's impurities. All our troubles and challenges are the fire that will purify our hearts and refine our faith to God. The process will reveal all our impurities, so that it can be remove out of our systems. Our words & deeds may seem right to human eyes, but God looks at our intentions & motives. God will be the ultimate judge of our motives.
