Proverbs 2:7 NIV
He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless,
You can never lose with God by your side. God promised to provide success and to become a shield to the blameless. Well, i believe we all wanted to have these successes and protections in life but who would want to fight for being blameless (meaning: innocent of wrongdoing) in God's sight? Who's willing to stand the test of righteousness? We can never be perfect but people can be blameless just like the great heroes of faith in the Bible such as Noah (Gen 6:), Abraham (James 2:23), Lot (2 Peter 7-8), Job, (Job 1:8), King David (2 King 14:3) etc.
