Solomon urges his reader to find satisfaction in one's spouse. In the Philippines where divorced is not yet legal but almost everybody knows someone who comes from a broken family. Infidelity has been an issue in every civilization because Satan attacks the very fabric of each society - the family.
King Solomon gave us the secret of having a lasting marriage - and that is to rejoice in your spouse. Look for good things about your spouse - think about the reason why you fell in love with your spouse in the first place. Marriage is a life-long commitment - it is until death to us part.
