For the lips of the adulterous woman drip honey, and her speech is smoother than oil; [4] but in the end she is bitter as gall, sharp as a double-edged sword.
An adulterous woman, or man talks smoothly and with flattery to encourage you or someone else to sin. In Filipino culture, extreme "pakikisama" sometimes forces us to do things that we don't normally agree - sometimes to extent that we commit sin against God. Don't be persuaded by these "sweet" talk because in the end, sin will be sin against God no matter what label we put on it. For sure, God will be able to forgive all our shortcomings but we can never escape the consequences of our mistake here on earth. For instance, God may forgive your unfaithfulness but that would be the end of your relationship with your significant other.
